Takuya auditionna déjà à ses 15 ans pour rejoindre le "Junon superboy contest for new actors". Il y gagna un "Photogenic award".
Après ce concours, des agences lui montrèrent leur intérêts, mais Takuya décida de choisir "first Produc" pour devenir acteur professionnel.
Il commença sa carrière d'acteur en 2005 dans le film "Semishigure" et y gagna même une récompense par le magazine "Kinema Junpo" la même année.
Depuis, Takuya continu son parcous avec succés.
