Sammo Hung Kam-Bo

Il grandit à l'Académie d'étude du théâtre chinois de Hong Kong avec comme compagnons Jackie Chan, Yuen Biao, Corey Yuen, Yuen Wah, Yuen Miu, Yuen Tak et Yuen Choi. Blessé lors d'un entraînement, il fût contraint de quitter l'école, étant resté immobilisé assez longtemps. Ça serait pendant cette période d'inactivité physique qu'il avoue avoir prit quelques kilos.

Malgré cela, il garde de cet entrainement un talent martial largement au dessus de la normale, de plus son physique rondouillard excellera dans la kung fu comédy, genre dont il sera l'un des principaux instigateurs...

De l'école du théatre chinois, il gardera une très grande amitié avec Jackie Chan et Yuen Biao, les 3 étant surnommés les 3 frères quant ils tournaient ensemble... Ce sera l'age d'or du cinéma cantonnais, et ces 3 acteurs seront des stars...

Vous connaissez certainement Sammo Hung, car en plus d'être acteur et réalisateur de talent, il a lui aussi droit à son exportation américaine avec la série Le flic de Shanghai (Martial Law), où il jouait un policier chinois venu aux états unis arrété son pire ennemi, et qui était accompagné dans sa quète par tout un tas de sidekick, dont le collègue black, surement une idée des producteurs en pleine période Rush Hour... En résulte une très bonne série, remplie de clin d'oeil à ses anciens films, et dans laquelle pas mal d'acteur nippon sont venues jouer... (et aussi chuck norris dans un épisode crossover avec Walker Texas ranger)
