Toshio Hirata

Toshio Hirata est né en Février 1938 à Yamagata dans la préfecture portant le même nom, au Japon.
Après des études à l'Université des Arts de Musashi, il travaille notamment pour les Studios Tôei, Madhouse ou encore Mushi Pro. Et commence ainsi sa carrière en 1960 avec "Alakazam the Great".
L'anime "Pet Shop of Horrors" reste sa réalisation la plus célèbre.
